Job Description:

As an Emergency Room Tech, you will support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department, performing delegated functions from the RN or Physician. Every day you will conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit. To be successful in this role you will effectively execute delegated tasks, support unit operations, and contribute to a safe and efficient environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Conduct selected diagnostics and procedures
  • Assist with patient transport and lifting
  • Provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit
  • Provide support to physician with procedures and treatments
  • Coordinate patient care with professional and support staff
  • Perform delegated patient care tasks
  • Monitor patient vital signs and notify the RN or physician if they change

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of direct patient care experience, Paramedic certification, EMT Certification or completion of the second term of Nursing Curriculum
  • AHA BLS

Nice to have:

ED and/or Phlebotomy experience

  • Support retaining existing accounts while ensuring a high level of customer happiness by providing product implementation support
  • Manage and support customer relationships and product expectations and implementations
  • Support Account Executives in developing rapport with customers by communicating through email, phone, website live chat, and video conferencing to drive sales, answer product questions, and onboard customers
  • Engage prospective schools and districts using a deep understanding of product knowledge
  • Participate in K-12 trade shows, conferences, and other marketing activities
