Job Description:

Full-time, Singapore-based internship with the Economic Impact Consulting team providing hands-on experience working alongside economists in Singapore and global team. The Economic Impact team delivers projects for Singapore government, pan-APAC trade associations, major western multi-nationals, management consultancies and Asian technology companies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the team in conducting economic analysis and research
  • Work with economists to craft reports, presentations and other deliverables
  • Desk research and literature reviews to survey current news and economic literature
  • Data aggregation and analysis in support of project work or proposal development
  • Producing charts, tables and other content for reports and presentations

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Economics at undergraduate or graduate level
  • For undergraduates, preferably students in penultimate or final year of studies
  • For student applicants overlapping with academic semester (August to December 2026): must obtain Leave of Absence (LOA) from educational institution in Singapore
  • International students required to take up credit bearing internship as per university guidelines
  • Ability to learn quickly and problem solve
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Interest in economic modelling and analysis
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Curiosity and desire to continue to improve
  • Collaborative approach to working in a team
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
