Prepare economic, financial and property market analysis and examine mega trend and risks to keep senior management and board members abreast of market trend and outlook
Support senior management’s strategic influencing by preparation of speeches, presentation materials and provision of timely, accurate and relevant market information
Track China’s demographics and consumer behaviors, and study the impact of digitalization on e-commerce and consumption patterns, residential demand
Compare Chinese and developed countries’ best practices and consumer trends and leverage these insights to provide inputs on company’s future business model
Undertake property sector research to support formulation of vision plan
Maintain contact with consulting firms, property agencies (i.e. JLL, CBRE), credit rating agencies (Moodys, Fitch) to obtain reports, consumer insights, and changing live-work lifestyles
Contribute to weekly information sharing meeting to facilitate cross-fertilization of market news and knowledge, keeping department members abreast on market intelligence
Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above majoring in Economics, Business studies or relevant discipline
Relevant experience in economic and property research
Experience in market research and project feasibility analysis
Proficiency in written and oral communication, both in Chinese and English
Proficient user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and refined knowledge of computer tools
Active sense of business awareness
Good communication, planning/organization, inter-personal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
