Job Description:

King’s College Alicante is seeking an inspiring and committed Teacher of Economics and Business to teach A Level and/or IBDP. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the leading British schools in Spain, known for its outstanding academic results, strong pastoral ethos, and vibrant school community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality Economics and Business lessons at A Level and/or IBDP
  • Plan and teach engaging lessons that support mixed-ability and EAL learners
  • Contribute to curriculum development and assessment at KS4 and KS5
  • Track pupil progress and support strong academic outcomes
  • Work collaboratively within the department and wider school community
  • Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, Business or a related subject, with QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Economics at A Level and/or IBDP (ECTs welcome)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for high-quality teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Commitment to pastoral care, professional development and collaborative working
