The Economic Security Supervisor leads and coordinates the work of an assigned team or program functions to ensure effective programs for participants. This role identifies workflow and workload challenges, recommends solutions, and collaborates with the Economic Security Programs Manager to develop and implement work plans. The supervisor provides guidance and support to Benefits Case Managers at all levels, especially in handling complex cases and difficult situations, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with processing standards and timeliness goals. This position may act on behalf of the Economic Security Programs Manager when needed and supports the Human Services Director on complex issues. In addition, the Economic Security Supervisor may manage a specialized caseload, working directly with clients to respond to inquiries, maintain cases, determine eligibility, and provide referrals, education, and services. Programs supported include SNAP, Medical Assistance/Long-Term Care, Adult Financial, Colorado Works, and the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Requirements:
High School diploma or G.E.D required
Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum of at least two years of direct Benefits Case Manager (or equivalent) experience
Experience as a Senior Benefits Case Manager preferred
