Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute market orders for several European electricity markets according to the provided guidelines
  • Communicate and follow up market results and strategies performance
  • Daily execute market orders in European electricity markets (Day ahead market/intraday/ bilateral contracts notification) according to the defined guidelines
  • Communication with internal (e.g Dispatch, Asset Management) and external (e.g. market operators, TSO) parties regarding daily market operations and executions
  • Monitoring on the markets and strategies performed, reporting to the rest of the department and other internal/external stakeholders about market movements and prices evolution, interpreting financial and market reports

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate required. Preferred degrees in Engineering, Business, Physics or Math science
  • Experience working in English (i.e. written and oral English (bilingual))
  • Valued other languages
  • Familiar with market jargon is valuable
  • In one or more of the following areas: electricity/energy markets, renewable regulation, finance
  • Previous experience as a trader would be valued
  • Domain of Microsoft Excel and other Office package
  • VBA, Power BI and R, and SQL would be a plus
  • Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products (preferred)
  • Competency in Analytical Problem solving, strong communication, customer/partner relationships, and technology expertise (preferred)
  • Responsible, organized, analytical, problem solving
