Job Description:

A04 Economic Development Officer required for leading Government client in Rockhampton with contract till end of August 2025 with view to extension. Responsibilities include promoting economic growth, coordinating industry events, stakeholder management, and preparing region-specific reports and submissions.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare summaries of trends, funding streams, and region-specific opportunities
Work collaboratively on planning and executing team and industry events
Assist with client engagement activities, including pre-meeting research
Promote industry development opportunities and initiatives
Coordinate and provide support for working groups and interagency meetings
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Conduct research for drafting briefings, submissions, reports, and correspondence
