Piper Maddox is working with a fast-growing North American leader in the e-bike and retail space that is entering the European market and opening a new office in Munich. The E-Commerce Manager EU will own the strategic development and continuous optimisation of the European online store, with full responsibility for driving conversion, revenue growth, and the end-to-end digital customer journey.
Job Responsibility:
Own and optimise the EU e-commerce experience with a focus on conversion, AOV, and revenue per visitor
Define and manage merchandising strategy, product assortment, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives
Plan and execute promotions, pricing strategies, and inventory-driven campaigns in collaboration with Sales and Operations
Map, analyse, and continuously improve the customer journey from landing page through checkout
Lead PDP, checkout, and UI/UX optimisation initiatives alongside Web Operations and QA
Implement onsite personalisation and automation, including recommendations, site search, dynamic content, and re-engagement triggers
Define, track, and own key e-commerce KPIs, translating performance data into actionable insights
Partner closely with Growth Marketing on testing, reporting, and optimisation initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, IT, Product, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment with commercial and customer goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in e-commerce strategy, ideally within a D2C environment
Strong background in conversion optimisation, merchandising, and customer journey design
Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into commercial actions
Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms, tools, and best practices
Knowledge of EU consumer behaviour and GDPR requirements
Nice to have:
Experience in the bike or lifestyle products industry is a plus
