Job Description

Working within Ecommerce & Marketing team, role supports the ongoing development, enhancement and maintenance of range of ecommerce sites in the Body Art Alliance portfolio. Responsible for daily maintenance and upkeep of specific areas of the site including building web pages, posting images and other site content, adding and editing links, building, organizing and maintaining product categories, auditing search terms and implementing rule changes that drive relevancy and sales, streamlining and improving site navigation and other daily tasks as required. This person will also be responsible for learning and documenting business systems that integrate with the website and become a resource on managing and trouble-shooting issues with feeds and other integrations. Will also be responsible for assisting with setup and maintenance of new websites and assisting with a wide range of tasks to support the re-platforming of existing sites.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for managing internal site search, including daily review of top and trending search terms, boosting products, brands and categories, regular reporting of whats being searched and overall enhancement of the tool to increase conversion and revenue
  • Set up new products and editing existing products across multiple websites
  • Partner with Marketing team to create and edit new pages and categories based on priorities or initiatives
  • Assist with finding and implementing new tools or site enhancements that increase efficiency and drive higher conversion rate
  • Troubleshoot & fix issues that relate to websites, including learning custom-built tools and processes to effectively manage feeds and other site integrations
  • Report bugs and site issues -- logging tickets, following-up with developers, testing bug fixes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2-5 years in Ecommerce, Web Content, Search, Site Development or other Web or Ecommerce fields
  • Knowledge & understanding of Ecommerce Sites & Web Businesses, Shopify & Magento 2 experience is highly desirable
  • Understanding of ecommerce and basic website tools (site search, product taxonomy, metadata and product management, page building)
  • Google Analytics knowledge highly desirable

Nice to have

  • Not required but helpful skills include knowledge of SEO, HTML and CSS, feed management or other site integration experience also a plus
  • Knowledge of Tattoo and/or Piercing industries helpful, but not required
