This role sits at the intersection of business growth, customer experience and platform strategy, perfect for someone who blends hands-on commerce experience with a sharp eye for growth opportunities and transformation. As part of our ecommerce craft team you’ll lead strategic pre-sales engagements and be central at elevating our presence as a leader in the commerce space. This role blends consultancy with platform and ecosystem understanding. You’ll help shape RFP responses, present in pitches and develop strategies while acting as a trusted expert across all stages of the sales cycle, including working with our strategic partners.

Job Responsibility

  • Digital ecosystem, platform advisory and growth strategy
  • Develop digital commerce strategies focused on KPIs such as revenue growth, AOV, retention and conversion
  • Translate business goals into actionable digital roadmaps that connect marketing, product, and tech, in collaboration with our Solution Architects
  • Recommend fit-for-purpose commerce platforms and tooling, including CMS, PIM, CDP, loyalty and personalisation engines, in collaboration with our Solution Architects
  • Partner with clients to build and scale roadmaps that enhance performance, ensure robust content governance, and enable cohesive cross-channel experiences
  • New business, pitching & thought leadership
  • Participate in new business pitches by crafting tailored commerce strategies, designing stack architecture, and contributing to proposal writing
  • Work collaboratively with creative, UX, tech, and delivery leads to present a cohesive and compelling response to RFPs
  • Share POVs, write whitepapers and speak on panels to represent our thought leadership in the commerce space
  • Client Engagement
  • Act as a trusted consultant across commerce directors, CMOs, digital leads and merchandising teams
  • Run discovery workshops, audit current commerce capabilities and lead strategy presentations
  • Balance commercial imperatives with technical realities — articulating trade-offs clearly to client stakeholders
  • Work alongside Account owners to grow our current client base by proactively developing commerce initiatives and projects
  • Operating Model & Team Design
  • Support clients in designing modern digital operating models, including org structure, internal roles and process workflows

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in an eCommerce-focused role, with brand-side or hybrid agency-brand experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on understanding of commerce platforms like Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce/Magento or Commercetools, from a strategic lens
  • Strong grasp of both frontend and backend commerce architecture—including storefront UX, payments, checkout, OMS, and fulfillment
  • Familiarity with broader digital tooling inc CMS, PIM, DAM, CDP, loyalty, analytics to create a unified digital commerce ecosystem
  • Ability to bridge marketing and tech teams in fast-paced commercial environments
  • Confidence working across client stakeholder groups, from marketers and merchandisers to CTOs and eComm directors
