Job Description:

The Network Quality Intelligence Specialist plays a key role in protecting the integrity of the Awin network by designing, supporting, and executing fraud detection, fraud handling, compliance, and risk mitigation processes across the network. The role requires a strong technical mindset, particularly in working with data, interpreting system outputs, and investigating behavioural patterns within datasets associated with fraudulent or non-compliant activity. The specialist will contribute to maintaining the security and commercial trust of the platform, its advertisers, publishers, and third-party partners by applying structured analytical methods to detect, prevent, and respond to suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent behavior. A fundamental understanding of affiliate marketing mechanics, tracking technology, and performance attribution is essential to this role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct technical and behavioral reviews of publisher operations on the Awin network, handle communications with Publisher, Advertisers, and Agency client, and activity signals to ensure compliance with platform policies
  • Analyze publisher websites, traffic behavior, and business models to identify fraud, compliance, or quality risks
  • Monitor lifecycle activity patterns using platform data, which includes tracking signals, and performance metrics
  • Perform structured investigations using reporting tools, query-based logic, and business intelligence platforms such as PowerBI and SQL
  • Identify anomalies in conversion patterns, payment flows, traffic sources, and engagement behavior
  • Develop repeatable investigation approaches using SQL-like logic, reporting dashboards, or platform analytics tools
  • Support the development of fraud and risk detection strategies using rule-based analysis, behavioral signals, and emerging intelligence methods
  • Document investigation outcomes, enforcement decisions, and risk insights
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring workflows and analytical capabilities
  • Monitor publisher earnings, conversion attribution signals, and transaction flows across network platforms
  • Identify irregularities such as abnormal conversion rates, click-to-conversion timing anomalies, or traffic quality concerns
  • Develop a practical understanding of affiliate tracking mechanisms, including cookie-based attribution, redirect flows, and event capture
  • Provide guidance to internal teams and external partners on fraud prevention, compliance standards, and network quality best practices
  • Translate technical findings into clear operational insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Communicate investigation findings and risk decisions to clients, partners, and internal and external stakeholders in a clear, professional, and commercially aware manner

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in fraud investigation, risk operations, or technical customer operations within digital platforms, fintech, advertising technology, or e-commerce environments
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret structured data outputs and investigate complex behavioural patterns
  • Intermediate proficiency in query-based analysis (SQL or equivalent logical query thinking is highly desirable)
  • Fundamental understanding of affiliate marketing ecosystems, including tracking technology, attribution logic, and performance measurement
  • Proven experience working with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms
  • Ability to interpret operational data signals and apply structured reasoning to identify risk or compliance concerns

  • Experience using workflow or ticketing platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or equivalent case management systems
  • Experience analyzing web intelligence tools such as SimilarWeb or equivalent platforms
