We believe strong systems create great experiences and sustainable growth comes from customers who stay. As Ecommerce Manager, you own our entire e-commerce setup and tech stack. This is a hands-on execution role with full responsibility. You are responsible for Shopify, our subscription platform and automations. You will work closely with the marketing team and CX and support team to ensure a seamless, scalable, and reliable ecommerce foundation. This role is for someone who thrives with ownership and enjoys building and optimizing systems end to end. The Team: We are a small, ambitious team that values trust, responsibility, and quality. Job Responsibility

  • Own and structure optimizations for our Shopify (CRO, apps/integrations, CMS, etc.)
  • Own tracking and data setup across our ecommerce platform
  • Own and develop our subscription setup including flows and automations
  • Own and evolve our ecommerce tech stack including integrations, workflows, automation tools, and AI solutions
  • Support our email marketing team by building segments, flows, and technical setup in Klaviyo, as well as our customer support team via integrations into Gorgias

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years hands on experience with Shopify
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce tech stacks and system architecture
  • Comfortable reading and understanding code and working with technical setups
  • AI native
  • Experience with automation tools such as Make or similar

Nice to have

  • Experience with subscription models is a strong plus
  • Experience from startup or DTC environments is a strong plus
  • Self driven, execution focused, and comfortable with full ownership

  • Platform ownership & governance: Own SimpliSafe’s ecommerce platform stack (experimentation/personalization platform, CDP, Google Tag Manager, AI assistant, Microsoft Clarity, and related systems). Define governance, data standards, SLAs, and vendor relationships for each platform
  • System architecture: Serve as the cross-platform systems architect: design the event/data layer, identity stitching, API integrations, and data flows that enable reliable experimentation, personalization, and analytics
  • Experimentation enablement: Drive enhancements to the experimentation framework and personalization integrations to increase testing velocity, reduce time-to-launch, and improve experiment quality and learnings
  • AI workflows & automation: Design, pilot, and scale AI workflows and automation that reduce manual work (experiment setup, analysis, insight generation, prioritization) and responsibly surface AI-driven recommendations to the team
  • Operational excellence: Implement runbooks, monitoring, cost controls, capacity planning, and performance tracking for platform health and uptime. Own change management and release processes for platform changes
  • Self-service & tooling: Build intuitive tooling, templates, docs, and training to enable stakeholders to self-serve their work safely and effectively
