We are currently seeking an Echocardiography Technician to join our diverse and dynamic team. As an Echocardiography Technician at ICON, you will play a key role in supporting cardiovascular diagnostic procedures and ensuring high-quality clinical data collection. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical research teams to deliver accurate cardiac assessments that contribute to patient safety and successful clinical trials.
Job Responsibility:
Performing cardiac diagnostic tests such as ECGs, Holter monitoring, stress tests, and other non-invasive cardiac assessments in accordance with protocols and guidelines
Preparing patients for cardiac procedures, explaining processes, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout each assessment
Monitoring equipment performance, calibrating devices, and troubleshooting basic technical issues to ensure accurate data capture
Accurately recording, storing, and transmitting cardiac data and test results in line with study and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with clinical and research teams to support cardiac-related aspects of clinical studies and resolve data queries
Maintaining high standards of infection control, quality assurance, and documentation to support audit and inspection readiness.
Requirements:
Relevant technical qualification or certification in cardiac technology, cardiovascular technology, or a related healthcare discipline
Experience working in a cardiac, cardiology, or diagnostic setting, preferably within a hospital or clinical environment
Working knowledge of cardiac diagnostic procedures, ECG interpretation basics, and safe use of cardiac monitoring equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, reliable clinical data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to reassure patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work within established protocols and timelines.
