Job Description:

We are recruiting a Band 7 Echocardiographer to join the medicine & urgent care division of a NHS hospital in the North London area. The post holder will help deliver the echo service with the cardiology department under the guidance of the service manager. The team consists of 7 other echocardiographers working with the cardiac physiology team to perform relevant transthoracic echocardiograms & assist with transoesophageal echocardiograms.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver the echo service within a cardiology department
perform relevant transthoracic echocardiograms
assist with transoesophageal echocardiograms

Requirements:

Band 7 Echocardiographer
ability to perform transthoracic echocardiograms
ability to assist with transoesophageal echocardiograms
availability to work 37.5 hours per week
experience working in a cardiology department
NHS experience preferred

Nice to have:

BSE accreditation
previous experience in a similar role
