Job Responsibility

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies
  • Performs all diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound testing including M-Mode, two dimensional, color flow mapping, cardiac doppler, echo stress testing, trans-esophageal echo, stress testing, EKG, and Holter application
  • Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures
  • Recognizes and promptly reports significant findings to physicians
  • Maintains echo equipment
  • Maintains accurate log of echo procedures performed

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medical-sciences and mathematics, upon hire and Verifiable completion of 18 contact hours of in-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hire
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Nice to have
