As an Echo Tech, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies. To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
Job Responsibility:
Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data
Ensure patient comfort and perform a range of echocardiographic studies
Provide Cardiovascular diagnostic services to the elderly with sensitivity
Perform clerical and other duties as necessary
Maintain records/reports of procedures
Maintain assigned area and equipment
Ensure optimum operation of the department through good attendance and flexibility
Requirements:
At least one (1) year experience in non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) within 12 months
Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire
Nice to have:
Experience in Stress testing
Experience in Holter monitoring
Experience in records management for procedures and patient files
