Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced veterinarians to join our emergency hospital based in Gungahlin! Canberra Veterinary Emergency Service (CVES) are an Emergency Hospital providing an after-hours service, operating weeknights from 6pm to 8am and 24 hours on weekends and public holidays. Our practice is a purpose-built facility that offers state of the art equipment, with a full team of vet professionals that will mentors and support you in any emergency environment. You will work with a great team of professionals and friends!

Job Responsibility:

Provide excellent Emergency and Critical Care to patients

Requirements:

  • BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia
  • MANZCVS qualifications are highly desirable but not required
  • A passion for providing excellent patient care, a desire to work as part of a team, with drive for continuing education
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with patients and their carers, fellow team members and management
  • An adept learner willing to explore new horizons and accept change when based on sound professional foundations
  • Knowing that excellence is only achieved through care and collaboration, respect, integrity, and teamwork
  • A high level of resilience created through adaptability and flexibility
