Job Description:

We are looking for EC&I Commissioning Engineers to be based on Sellafield site on BEP. This is a contract role inside IR35 at £50ph working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. BPSS clearance is required for this role. ***Only apply if you are a British Citizen and passport holder, and not have worked outside the UK during the past 5 years.***

Job Responsibility:

  • To carry out vendor testing witnessing duties at works test
  • Preparation of plant commissioning test specifications
  • Early inspection of site installation to facilitate system handovers
  • Execution of testing activities throughout IPC commissioning phase
  • Identification of faults and ability to propose and implement solutions
  • Organisation of Commissioning Technicians and support resources
  • Initiation and implementation of FOBs
  • Validation of Working Level Instructions
  • Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids

Requirements:

  • Nuclear CE&I systems commissioning
  • Minimum - HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
  • Experience in nuclear commissioning
  • Project management knowledge, preferably APM member
  • Calculation production using Excel
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • ECS supervisory card relevant to trade
  • Microsoft Suite
