Job Description

A well-established test and measurement company backed by private equity is looking for an experienced systems sales professional to own and grow their eastern US territory. Their products, large-scale vibration and environmental test systems, are used by aerospace and defense prime contractors, government research labs, and satellite programs to validate hardware before it flies. The company's systems have been used on some of the most recognized programs in the industry. This is a fully remote, full-cycle territory ownership role with no BDR or inside sales support. You will build your own target account list, manage a pipeline of complex, high-value deals, bring in applications engineering support when appropriate, and close contracts ranging from mid-six to seven figures with average cycles of six months or longer.

Requirements

  • Proven full-cycle B2B sales of capital equipment or complex technical systems to technical buyers
  • Experience selling into environmental test environments: vibration, thermal, shock, pressure, acoustic, or similar
  • Self-sourcing hunter, no BDR or inside sales support exists in this role
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (engineering, physics, chemistry, math, or similar) is required

Nice to have

  • Direct experience selling vibration test systems, electrodynamic shakers, or hydraulic test platforms
  • Existing relationships with prime defense contractors (Lockheed, Northrop, Raytheon, Boeing, L3Harris) or government labs (NSWC, NASA)
  • Based near VA/DC, Boston, or Florida - highest client concentration in the territory
