Job Description:

Role - Earnix Tech Lead, Location – San Antonio, TX, FTE

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain rate tables, rating routines, and strategy trees within the Earnix platform (e.g., PriceIt, Model Builder)
  • Configure underwriting rules, segmentation strategies, and rate calculation logic to meet business requirements
  • Responsible to configure Rating and UW rules in Earnix across the different lines of business
  • Analyze data, manage SQL datasets, and embed predictive models developed by actuarial or data science teams into the Earnix framework
  • Perform unit, integration and regression testing
  • Experience with Earnix (PriceIt, Model Builder) is generally required
  • Develop integrations between Earnix and core policy administration systems (e.g., Guidewire PolicyCenter) via APIs and data pipelines
  • Prepare the testplan and Qtest evidences
  • Attend stand up’s, backlog refinements, sprint plannings at regular cadences
  • Responsible for Demo's to team and business SME's for the signoff
  • Ability to promote to staging Environment Rule and Product
  • Responsible for production readiness sign off and online promotion (Production environment)

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years experience
  • Earnix software configuration, particularly implementing rate tables, rate order calculations, and data integration
  • Advanced SQL skills (Oracle/SQL Server) for data extraction and analysis, along with familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R
  • Proven ability to integrate Earnix with peripheral systems, specifically Guidewire in P&C insurance contexts
  • Strong background in P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance, actuarial pricing, or rating algorithms
  • Build and maintain rate tables, rating routines, and strategy trees within the Earnix platform (e.g., PriceIt, Model Builder)
  • Configure underwriting rules, segmentation strategies, and rate calculation logic to meet business requirements
