Job Description:

The Earned Media Account Coordinator (AC) supports the account management team, executing the tactical elements and reporting on the outcomes of our clients' PR, Affiliate and/or Social Media campaigns.

Job Responsibility:

  • Daily support for PR/Affiliate/Social Media account managers
  • Answer affiliate inquiries and manage newsletter communication
  • Media monitoring and tracking
  • Media database management and list-building
  • Help to develop pitches for campaigns, partner recruitment, and news release writing
  • Product seeding and shipping to media
  • Asset management for partners
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for client programs - ROI reporting and results analysis
  • Identify new affiliates to recruit into client programs, compile and analyze reporting, track client placements, and support optimizations
  • Assist with social media community management and influencer campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.)
  • Research, contract, brief, and measure influencer campaigns
  • Help to compile and assess flat fee placements for clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business or related field
  • 0-2 years of professional experience
  • You live in Denver or Carbondale, and are willing to work 2-3 days/week from one of our offices
  • Have a basic understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising
  • Able to work successfully in a team environment that promotes collaboration in addition to confidently working independently and leveraging resources at hand
  • Detail-oriented and ability to appropriately manage time across multiple accounts
  • Computer skills for editing and writing
  • knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with popular social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines, juggling multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done

Nice to have:

  • Previous work in the PR, Affiliate and/or Social Media fields
  • Knowledgeable about affiliate marketing and how it contributes to a brand’s direct-to-consumer business
  • Familiarity with affiliate networks like Avantlink, Impact, etc.
  • Experience in Muckrack, Asana, Semrush, Google Analytics, Canva or Adobe Photoshop, video editing, influencer campaign management tools (CreatorIQ, etc.), community management tools (Sprinklr, etc.)
  • Proficient in research tools including RivalIQ, Google Trends, MuckRack, etc.
