Job Responsibility
Support Learning: Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum
Observe and Assess: Keep accurate records of children's progress, noting those 'lightbulb moments' to help shape their next steps
Foster Independence: Encourage social skills, emotional resilience, and independence in daily routines (including outdoor play and mealtimes)
Build Partnerships: Maintain warm, professional relationships with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth
Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and highly supportive classroom environment, adhering strictly to safeguarding policies
Requirements
A relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent) is highly desirable
Previous experience working within an EYFS setting or primary school environment
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework, excellent communication skills, and a warm, approachable demeanour
High energy, a sense of humour, resilience, and a proactive 'can-do' attitude
