Early Years Teacher

• Ensure that ratio and internal regulations are always met

• Establish and maintain a purposeful learning atmosphere
• Regularly update cohort and tracking and analyse to inform future improvements
• Be responsible for the nursery’s planning, observations and assessments through Blossom
• Commit to continuous improvement, always strive to be and do the best
• Be accountable for all key people in the nursery
• Ensure the nursery receives excellent (outstanding) outcomes in internal audits
• Attend any meetings, training or workshops
• Embrace creativity and innovation – these are what keep our service fresh unique and inspiring

• Build a positive and progressive team environment where everyone is united and able to shine
• Manage the team and organise training/meetings

• Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Qualified to degree level in Early Years or Education
• 3 years’ experience working in an Early Years Setting or Classroom
• Experience of Safeguarding and/or SENDCo and/or Language Lead
• Proven track-record of teaching to a “Good” or “Outstanding” standard in Early Years

2 years’ experience of leading a room or unit within an early year’s environment
