Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported in their individual growth and development
  • Conducting regular observations and assessments to track children progress and identify areas for further support or enrichment
  • Building positive and collaborative relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure open communication and partnership in children learning journey
  • Supporting children in developing essential skills such as self-confidence, resilience, and empathy to foster their overall well-being and social competence
  • Facilitating hands-on, play-based learning experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity, and exploration
  • Tailoring teaching strategies and activities to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of individual children within the classroom

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) with Early Years specialism
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting, preferably within a Reception or Early Years environment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality, child-centred learning experiences
