Job Description

Inspired Education Group is seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will teach within an inspiring, child-centred environment that nurtures creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in early childhood education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to contribute positively to the school community

Job Responsibility

  • Support a positive school culture by implementing the St. Louis School’s Positive Behaviour Policy and pastoral initiatives, aligned with the school's Mission and Values
  • Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons for Early Years students using a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach
  • Participate in school trips, assemblies and other initiatives to enrich the student experience
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure assessment data is used effectively to support student progress
  • Actively participate in staff training and contribute to school improvement initiatives
  • Support extra-curricular activities to enhance the current portfolio of student opportunities

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Must hold an EU passport or have a valid visa to work in Italy
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is preferred
  • A university degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching 3–5-year-olds, ideally within a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment
  • Strong understanding of assessment and data tracking to support student progress
  • A commitment to personalised learning in an inclusive environment
  • A flexible approach and the ability to integrate seamlessly into an established Early Years team for the duration of the maternity cover
