Job Description

Early Years Practitioner – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different nursery and early years settings. You’ll be supporting children in their formative years, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assist with the care and supervision of children aged 0–5 years
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Encourage social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning
  • Monitor and record observations of children’s progress and share with staff
  • Support children with personal care needs where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development
