Job Description:

Early Years Practitioner – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different nursery and early years settings. You’ll be supporting children in their formative years, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.

Job Responsibility:

Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Assist with the care and supervision of children aged 0–5 years
Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Encourage social, emotional, and physical development through play-based learning
Monitor and record observations of children’s progress and share with staff
Support children with personal care needs where required

Requirements:

Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting
Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles
Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
Patience, empathy, and adaptability
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development
