Job Description:

Early Years Practitioner – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different early years settings. You will be supporting children in Harrow and the surrounding areas, helping them learn, play, and thrive in nurturing and engaging environments.

Job Responsibility:

Support the planning and delivery of stimulating, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
Assist with the care, supervision, and well‑being of children aged 0–5
Help create safe, inclusive, and developmentally rich learning environments
Promote children’s social, emotional, and physical development
Contribute to observations and maintain accurate learning records where required
Support children with personal care needs when appropriate
Work collaboratively with early years staff and contribute to daily routines during longer‑term placements

Requirements:

Experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings
Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
Ability to build positive, nurturing relationships with children
Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable across various routines, environments, and age groups
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Willingness to undertake relevant early years training and continuous development
