Job Description:

At Thrive, we don’t just provide childcare – we shape futures. Every day, our Early Years Practitioners inspire, nurture, and guide children to explore, play, and grow in a safe, welcoming environment. To us, you’re a hero, and we make sure you feel like one too! We’re looking for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners (or above) to join our flexible Supply Team, supporting our amazing settings across Cheshire East. This role requires travel between nurseries, so access to transport is essential. Whether you’re newly qualified, returning to Early Years after a break, or looking to take the next step in your career, this role gives you the flexibility to fit work around your life while gaining valuable experience across multiple nursery settings. Our nurseries are located in and around Alsager, Wistaston, Weston, and Congleton, with a strong focus on outdoor learning, child-led play, and nurturing environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through engaging, meaningful play
  • Deliver high-quality care in line with EYFS standards
  • Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of all children
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to meet each child’s needs
  • Provide cover for staff absences and holidays across multiple nursery sites

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
  • Teamwork and reliability
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children
  • Access to transport, as travel across Cheshire East is required
What we offer:
  • Career Progression
  • Free Work Essentials
  • Birthday
  • Flexible hours that work around you
  • Opportunities for career progression within Thrive
  • Experience in a variety of high-quality nursery settings
  • Work in a nursery that celebrates outdoor learning and a nature-based approach
