Requirements

PGCE qualification or equivalent
Higher level qualification in Early Childhood and/or education
A minimum of 3 years’ experience with pupils in early years and foundation stage
Experience in delivering the UK Early Years and Foundation Stage curriculum
Experience in delivering the EYFS framework, and/or knowledge of the Reggio Emilio philosophy
Knowledge and understanding of theory and practice for meeting the learning needs of the students
Confidence with use of ICT in teaching
Fluency in English at an academic standard

Job Responsibility

Facilitate the learning of a class of pupils using the UK EYFS curriculum
ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meeting their varying learning and social needs in accordance with school requirements
Maintain the positive ethos of the school and value, inside and outside of the classroom at all times
Contribute to the constructive team building amongst teachers and non-teaching staff, parents and senior staff
Contribute to the wider school curriculum, supporting development of policy and practice inside and outside the classroom
