Job Description:

Early Years Educator role at Cherubs Bingham, a family-run nursery opening March 2026. The role involves bringing energy, creativity, and care to provide children with the personalities, skills and experiences they need. The nursery follows an approach inspired by Montessori, Hygge, Reggio and Forest School, with a focus on Community Life work.

Job Responsibility:

Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service for children and families
Ensure the children’s environment and nursery is kept safe, secure and clean at all times ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to
Be a role model for the children at all times, whilst demonstrating best practice to colleagues
Give parents and carers a warm welcome and concise handover at the end of the day
Complete Nursery In A Box for all key children, ensuring targets are met and providing detailed and relevant accounts for each child, underpinned by the EYFS
Take pride in room and nursery, ensuring it is presented well with organised resources, engaging displays with an inviting layout
Attend both in-house and external training, as required
Assist in the thorough planning and successful delivery of a variety of activities (both indoor and outdoor) to maintain the children’s interests and to ensure the development of all children in-line with their own needs
Attend all staff events including parents evening, staff meetings and summer fairs
Attend 3 paid Saturday Training Days every year (January, May and September) along with an annual fundraising event for nursery that also takes place on a Saturday

Requirements:

Qualified Early Years Educator
Right to work in the United Kingdom
Completion of a “Keeping Children Safe” Form
DBS check
At least 2 satisfactory employment references
Some roles may require a 5-year employment history
