Job Description

Position for a Support Nursery Practitioner at Children 1st Newark Nursery School. Role involves providing cover for children and supporting their development in a nurturing environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing cover for children as needed (holiday, sickness, vacancy gaps)
  • Supporting for full day or morning/afternoon sessions
  • Engaging in hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games
  • Working within EYFS standards

Requirements

  • Level 2 or above qualification in early years
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under 5
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Reflecting Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together

Nice to have

  • Unqualified with experience (sometimes considered)
  • Level 2 or above qualification (if unqualified, demonstrate necessary values and enthusiasm)
