Kiddy English is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team in August 2026. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to high standards, values child-centred learning, and is excited to contribute to an international school community. As an Early Years Teacher, you will work within a supportive and innovative environment, delivering engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the British National Curriculum. You will play a key role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment, supporting children aged 2–6 through play-based learning and contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
Job Responsibility
Foster a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with EYFS and the British National Curriculum
Support the development of children aged 2–6 across all areas of learning
Work collaboratively with colleagues as a co-constructor of learning
Contribute to planning, assessment and the ongoing development of the Early Years provision
Promote children’s social, emotional and academic development
Engage positively in the wider life of the school and school community
Requirements
BA in Early Childhood Education and Care, B.Ed in Early Years Education, or B.Ed in Primary Education with a clear Early Years specialisation (ages 3–11), or a relevant undergraduate degree plus PGCE/PGDE
Experience working with children aged 2–6
Fluent English with excellent communication skills
A strong understanding of child-centred and play-based learning
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (or similar) and/or the British National Curriculum
A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching
Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit)
Nice to have
Experience in an international or multilingual school setting
A passion for creativity, inquiry and experiential learning
