Job Description:

We're looking for Level 3 Early Years Educators to join us as Bank Staff. Flexible days and hours to suit all schedules, confirming availability 2-weeks in advance. Own transport is not essential but you do have to be able to travel to at least 3 nurseries within the Cherubs Nurseries group. Bank Early Years Educator, you will apply your in-depth knowledge and early years’ experience to cover staff shortages such as sickness, holidays and maternity/paternity leave as a set group of Cherubs Nurseries.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver an amazing service for children and families
Ensure environment is kept safe, secure and clean
Be a role model for children
Ensure toys and equipment are clean and in good order
Assist in supervision of meal times
Give parents a warm welcome and concise handover
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
Complete paperwork correctly and on-time
Complete Blossom for key children
Take pride in rooms and nursery
Present professionally
Maintain confidentiality
Attend training
Assist in planning and delivery of activities
Work under direction of management
Share information timely
Establish relationships with parents, staff and suppliers
Attend staff events

Requirements:

Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
GCSE Level Pass (4 or above) in both English and Maths
At least 2.5 years’ experience working in a childcare setting
Must be flexible in working pattern
Hold a full UK driving licence
Willing to travel between a cluster of nurseries
Confident in ability to deliver high-quality childcare
Ability to form quick but effective bonds with children, parents and staff
Can do and outgoing attitude
