Job Description:

An Early Childhood Educator at Reddam ELS plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional early learning experiences for children aged 1-5 years, with a holistic focus on emotional, social, and cognitive development. In alignment with the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the educator will nurture curiosity, independence, and a love for learning, while forming collaborative relationships with families to foster a community of trust and respect.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry-driven curriculum
Observe and document children’s development to support personalised learning
Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration
Build strong, respectful relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey
Work as part of a reflective, inclusive team culture
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas

Requirements:

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it)
ACECQA-approved qualifications
A valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
Strong understanding of inquiry-based and child-led learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
