Job Description:

YMCA Trinity Group is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Educator to join our vibrant childcare setting in Lowestoft. At YMCA Childcare we are looking for an Early Years Educator to work within our 2.5-4yr room. Are you excited about sparking curiosity, inspiring little imaginations, and helping children learn through play? We’re searching for a fun, creative Early Years Educator to join our cheerful, supportive team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the room and ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the day-to-day running of the room
Providing high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS
Working as part of a friendly, experienced, and supportive team
Using your initiative while also taking direction when needed
Bringing creativity, vision, and enthusiasm to your practice

Requirements:

Qualified with full and relevant Early Years qualifications, or equivalent, minimum Level 2
A minimum of two years post qualifying experience
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
Great IT skills and a collaborative spirit

Nice to have:

Sing out of tune with confidence in a room full of giggling children
Be a pirate on Monday and a doctor on Tuesday
Dive into messy play with enthusiasm
Recite The Very Hungry Caterpillar from memory
Get genuinely excited about a child’s learning milestone
Share ideas and bring them to life with your team
