Job Responsibility:
Teach and support early years students (ages 3-5), following the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons that stimulate early cognitive, social, and physical development
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where young children feel supported and encouraged
Use creative and interactive teaching methods, including play, stories, songs, and hands-on activities to promote learning
Foster the development of essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, and social interaction
Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualised feedback to support each child’s growth
Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development and provide advice on supporting learning at home
Collaborate with colleagues on developing cross-curricular activities that integrate learning through play
Participate in school events and extra-curricular programs, helping to build a sense of community among students and families
Ensure that teaching aligns with the values of King’s College, promoting a love of learning and encouraging positive relationships
Requirements:
University degree in appropriate subject
Excellent subject knowledge, ensuring good progress for all students
