Early Years Educator role at Cherubs Kimberley, a modern, lively nursery providing care and education for up to 135 children. Part of Cherubs Nurseries, a family-run business established in 1993, inspired by Montessori, Hygge, Reggio and Forest School approaches, with a focus on Community Life work and sustainability.
Job Responsibility:
Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service for children and families
Ensure the children’s environment and nursery is kept safe, secure and clean at all times ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to
Be a role model for the children at all times, whilst demonstrating best practice to colleagues
Give parents and carers a warm welcome and concise handover at the end of the day
Complete Nursery In A Box for all key children, ensuring targets are met and providing detailed and relevant accounts for each child, underpinned by the EYFS
Take pride in room and nursery, ensuring it is presented well with organised resources, engaging displays with an inviting layout
Attend both in-house and external training, as required
Assist in the thorough planning and successful delivery of a variety of activities (both indoor and outdoor) to maintain the children’s interests and to ensure the development of all children in-line with their own needs
Attend all staff events including parents evening, staff meetings and summer fairs
Requirements:
Qualified Early Years Educator
Right to work in the United Kingdom
Completion of a “Keeping Children Safe” Form
DBS check
At least 2 satisfactory employment references
Some roles may require a 5-year employment history
