The Early Years Educator will play a key role in providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for young children. Working closely with colleagues and families, they will foster curiosity, creativity, and independence in every child while ensuring that emotional, social, and cognitive development are all supported in a balanced and holistic manner.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with Altair’s educational philosophy
Create a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and self-expression
Observe and assess student development to tailor instruction and provide personalized support
Promote inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving through play and hands-on experiences
Integrate technology, music, art, and storytelling into daily routines to enrich learning
Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities
Work collaboratively with the Early Years team and other departments to ensure curricular and developmental coherence
Model and foster positive social and emotional behaviors, guiding children toward independence and empathy
Participate in professional development, school meetings, and community events
Contribute to extracurricular and school-wide initiatives that reflect the holistic vision of Altair and Inspired Education
Requirements:
A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
A recognized teaching qualification
Proven experience teaching in an Early Years or preschool setting
Advanced level of English
bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred
Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy and developmental milestones
A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
A commitment to fostering curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning
