Early Years Educator

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with Altair’s educational philosophy
• Create a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and self-expression
• Observe and assess student development to tailor instruction and provide personalized support
• Promote inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving through play and hands-on experiences
• Integrate technology, music, art, and storytelling into daily routines to enrich learning
• Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities
• Work collaboratively with the Early Years team and other departments to ensure curricular and developmental coherence
• Model and foster positive social and emotional behaviors, guiding children toward independence and empathy
• Participate in professional development, school meetings, and community events
• Contribute to extracurricular and school-wide initiatives that reflect the holistic vision of Altair and Inspired Education

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• A recognized teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching in an Early Years or preschool setting
• Advanced level of English
• bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy and developmental milestones
• A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• A commitment to fostering curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning
