Job Responsibility

  • Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service for both children and families
  • Ensure the children's environment and nursery is kept safe secure and clean at all times ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to
  • Be a role model for the children at all times demonstrating best practice to colleagues
  • Give parents and carers a warm welcome and concise handover at end of day
  • Complete Nursery In A Box for all key children meeting targets and providing detailed accounts underpinned by EYFS
  • Take pride in room and nursery ensuring it is presented well with organized resources engaging displays and inviting layout
  • Attend both in-house and external training some may be outside working hours
  • Assist in thorough planning and successful delivery of indoor and outdoor activities to maintain children's interests and ensure development
  • Attend all staff events including parents evening staff meetings and summer fairs some may be out of hours and weekends
  • Attend 3 paid Saturday Training Days every year (January May and September) and an annual fundraising event on a Saturday

Requirements

  • Right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Completion of a Keeping Children Safe Form
  • DBS
  • At least 2 satisfactory employment references
  • 5-year employment history (some roles)
  • Qualified Early Years Educator
