Job Responsibility:
Teach and support children in the Early Years, following IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) principles
Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
Foster curiosity and creativity through play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners and encourage holistic growth
Observe and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing feedback with parents
Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment aligned with IB philosophy
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, building strong partnerships in support of each child’s development
Promote school values and create a positive, inclusive classroom culture
Requirements:
A university degree in Education or Early Childhood Education, with a recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Early Years students, preferably in an international or IB school
Familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and inquiry-based learning approaches
Proven ability to create a warm, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
Strong communication skills and fluency in English (basic French is an advantage)
A collaborative mindset and flexibility in a multicultural environment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
