Job Description:

We're seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive nursery team. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the development of young children. If you have a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and a passion for early childhood education, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning opportunities for children based on the EYFS
  • Create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and motivated to learn
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families, promoting confidence and independence
  • Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene during mealtimes and throughout the day
  • Record and track children's progress, contributing to assessments and reporting as required

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (mandatory)
  • Prior experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or early years setting
  • A positive and proactive approach, with the ability to encourage and support children's learning and development
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and EYFS
