Job Description:

Are you ready to take the next step in your childcare career? We are looking for a passionate Early Years Assistant to join a dedicated team on a permanent basis. If you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and are excited to help shape the early education of young children, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help plan and implement EYFS activities that are fun, educational, and inclusive
  • Support children in developing social, emotional, and physical skills through interactive learning
  • Observe and record children's progress, providing valuable input into assessments
  • Support children during personal care routines, promoting healthy habits, independence, and self-esteem
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and explore new ideas

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is mandatory
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years environment, ideally working with children aged 0-5
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and the EYFS
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach to childcare, with a focus on building meaningful relationships with children and families
