Job Description:

We’re not just building better tech. We’re rewriting how data moves and what the world can do with it. With Confluent, data doesn’t sit still. Our platform puts information in motion, streaming in near real-time so companies can react faster, build smarter, and deliver experiences as dynamic as the world around them. It takes a certain kind of person to join this team. Those who ask hard questions, give honest feedback, and show up for each other. No egos, no solo acts. Just smart, curious humans pushing toward something bigger, together. One Confluent. One Team. One Data Streaming Platform. About the Role: What we do MATTERS -- we aim to attract, empower and hire top talent early in their careers into opportunities at Confluent. Your internship will be a hybrid working model that introduces you to Confluent's culture and enables faster learning, onboarding, and coaching. As part of the Early Career Recruiting Team this summer, you receive a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure across recruiting, talent operations, employer branding, and early career program management and see how these functions are built, scaled, and delivered at a fast-growing tech company. Through your rotations you will gain real project ownership, and work closely with mentors who are invested in your growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner seamlessly with the recruiting team to ensure a positive and engaging experience for all interns by facilitating smooth communication, providing timely updates, and acting as a brand ambassador
  • Help maintain candidate databases and tracking systems, supporting data accuracy and reporting
  • Compile and analyze recruitment metrics and intern program data to inform future hiring strategies
  • Run in-person and virtual events for our North America internship program as the team’s on-the-ground point of contact
  • Support onboarding sessions, social events, and mentorship activities and track intern participation and engagement metrics
  • Contribute to the creation of engaging content aimed at attracting campus talent
  • Assist with intern spotlights and storytelling initiatives
  • Maintain wiki pages, onboarding resources, and intern program materials
  • Support documentation of recruiting workflows and program playbooks
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to recruiting and program processes

Requirements:

  • Currently a 2nd-year undergraduate, preferably pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Available for the full duration of this internship programme which is from May 11 to Aug 21
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and involvement in campus organizations or student activities
  • Able to execute a program plan with clear deliverables, timelines, and strategies
  • Strong time-management and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Detail-oriented, responsive, and quick to learn new tools and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative, solutions-driven approach

Nice to have:

Experience in early talent or project management

What we offer:
  • Remote-First Work
  • Robust Insurance Benefits
  • Flexible Time Away
  • The Best Teammates
  • Experience Ambassadors
  • Open and Honest Culture
