Job Description

The Early Childhood Educator at Reddam ELS plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional early learning experiences for children aged 1-5 years, with a holistic focus on emotional, social, and cognitive development. In alignment with the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the educator will nurture curiosity, independence, and a love for learning, while forming collaborative relationships with families to foster a community of trust and respect.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry-driven curriculum
  • Observe and document children’s development to support personalised learning
  • Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey
  • Work as part of a reflective, inclusive team culture
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas

Requirements

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it)
  • A valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
  • Strong understanding of inquiry-based and child-led learning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
