Job Description:

Early Intervention Specialist (EIS). Location: Cape Cod & Surrounding Areas, MA (Home‑based with local travel). Organization Type: Community‑based Human Services & Early Intervention Provider

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct developmental assessments and eligibility evaluations across cognitive, motor, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive domains
  • Collaborate with families to develop and update Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with measurable goals
  • Provide home-, community-, and group-based early intervention services using a parent/caregiver coaching model
  • Educate and empower families to support child development, access resources, and advocate for their child’s needs
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary providers to ensure integrated service delivery
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Early Intervention operational standards
  • Monitor progress toward IFSP goals and adjust interventions as needed

Requirements:

  • Active Massachusetts licensure in one of the following: OT, RN, LMHC, SLP, PT, or LCSW/LICSW, and eligibility to serve as an Early Intervention Specialist
  • Early Intervention Specialist certification (or ability to obtain per state standards)
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families in home- or community-based settings
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel for home visits
