This role is for a recruiter who has hands-on experience hiring for AI, Machine Learning (ML), Data, Applied Science, or highly technical engineering roles, and who is excited about engaging early in profession talent at the forefront of emerging technology.
Job Responsibility
Design and execute inclusive, forward-thinking recruiting strategies to engage high-potential Early-in-Profession AI talent across a wide range of pathways, including universities, peer companies, and emerging talent ecosystems.
Partner closely with technical leaders and AI-focused teams to translate evolving skill needs into compelling, credible candidate experiences.
Develop and execute high-impact candidate engagement across the recruiting lifecycle from first contact through offer ensuring candidates clearly understand Microsoft's AI mission, teams, expectations, and career trajectory.
Develop and sustain university-based early in profession AI talent pools — from internships to full-time roles ensuring conversion outcomes and long-term alignment with Microsoft's investment in emerging technical talent
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role OR equivalent experience.
Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role OR Master's Degree AND 3+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role OR equivalent experience.
