Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead our 3 and 4-year-old funded kindergarten programs in Portland. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering high-quality, play-based learning environments. You will provide evidence-informed, contemporary pedagogy aligned with the Early Childhood Australia Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). If you excel at building safe, positive, and enriching relationships with children and families to support crucial developmental milestones, we would love to welcome you to apply today.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver and lead an engaging 3 and 4-year-old funded kindergarten curriculum
  • Implement contemporary, evidence-informed practices that align with the EYLF
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where children can thrive and reach their developmental milestones
  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships with families and the local Portland community
  • Maintain strict compliance with national quality standards and child safety regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent degree)
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration & Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • National Child Safety Training Certificate via the Geccko platform & Mandatory Reporting Certificate
  • Valid certifications including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis management training
