Job Description:

Part time maximum term contract for Term 2 2026. 29 hours per week (Mon, Tues & Wed + flexible planning time). Additional casual work available at other Uniting services if desired. Create a safe, inclusive, and responsive educational program for children.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide pedagogical leadership and collaborate with the team to ensure delivery of a responsive, safe, and engaging educational program
  • Support service operations to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and drive continuous quality improvement
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive
  • Deliver a high-quality, inclusive kindergarten program that supports each child’s learning, development, and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Current ECT qualifications and VIT registration
  • Strong understanding of contemporary early childhood practice
  • Commitment to inclusive education and reflective teaching
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
