Job Description:

Intereach is establishing a new Preschool Program in Deniliquin, and we’re seeking a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher to help lead and shape this exciting new service. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the foundation of a new program, influence curriculum direction, and work closely with families and the local community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Play a key role as part of the foundation teaching team for our new preschool
  • Lead the delivery of our preschool program for children aged 3–5, in line with the EYLF and NQF
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to a team of Diploma and Certificate III Educators
  • Ensure compliance with the National Law and Regulations
  • Partner with families to support children’s learning and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent (Teacher)
  • CHCPRT025 – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid (including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis)
  • Food handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accreditation
  • Australian working rights
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Criminal Record Check (arranged by Intereach)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • The desire to deliver high-quality preschool education
